Bulgaria remains in the group of the most pro-European countries in Europe. This was also the result of the active civil society, President Rosen Plevneliev said at a meeting he held in Munich with Beate Merk, Bavarian Minister of European Affairs and International Relations. The two held talks within the 51st Munich Security Conference.

President Rosen Plevneliev is in Munich to take part in the 51st Security Conference. “All participants in the Munich conference are extremely concerned about the fact that the EU-Russia relationships are developing in the direction of lasting instability and deterioration, which no one is willing to allow. The next days will be decisive,” the Head of State commented on the occasion of his participation in the top-level forum.

President Rosen Plevneliev attended the commemoration service in memory of the first democratically elected president (1990-1997) of Bulgaria Dr. Zhelyu Zhelev.
