The Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund has proven effectiveness, implementing its first investments in key connectivity sectors in the region – energy, transport and digitalisation. High added value is a main priority in selecting projects, so as to attract more investments, stated President Rumen Radev at a meeting today with the Chairperson of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund, Ms. Beata Daszy?ska-Muzyczka, and representatives of the Polish Development Bank. The Caretaker Minister of Economy, Mr. Kiril Petkov, also participated in the meeting at the Presidency.

President Rumen Radev discussed the priorities on the Agenda of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU at a meeting today at the Presidency with Anzej Franges, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Bulgaria. Slovenia took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the 1st of July this year.

Bulgaria supports the initiative of France and Germany to lead a direct dialogue with Russia in order to look for solutions to the open issues, stated President Rumen Radev before journalists in Brussels following his participation in the European Council meeting. The Head of State emphasised that this also concerns the level of EU ambition to be a global leader or an observer.
