President Rumen Radev Discussed the Priorities of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU at a Meeting with Anzej Franges, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Bulgaria

President Rumen Radev discussed the priorities on the Agenda of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU at a meeting today at the Presidency with Anzej Franges, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Bulgaria. Slovenia took over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the 1st of July this year. 
 
Fighting climate change and the necessity of a fair transition to a green economy to guarantee social stability in the energy sector and to preserve the competitiveness of the separate EU Member States were among the topics of the conversation. The European integration of the Republic of North Macedonia was also discussed during the meeting.
