European politicians will not produce growth while postponing important structural reforms and appropriate “growth” must be filled out with substance, President Rosen Plevneliev said today. The President today opened at the University of National and World Economy a conference entitled “Preconditions and prospects for sustainable economic growth in Bulgaria and Europe”.

Infrastructure, tourism, agriculture and real estate are the main areas in which Qatari investors are showing interest in Bulgaria. This became clear during a meeting between President Rosen Plevneliev and the Deputy Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah on the second day of the “Rio+20” UN Forum on Sustainable Development.
