Use Bulgaria as Vietnam’s bridge to Europe, President Rosen Plevneliev said during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Thien Nhan. A member of the EU since 2007, the Southeast European country of Bulgaria has a population of 7.3 million people whose main sources of concern are now law and justice. Presidential elections in October last year were won by Rosen Plevneliev, an entrepreneur and independent politician who continues to inspire hope in a nation that still has not completely shaken off the remnants of communism.
