Bulgaria has a huge historical and cultural heritage and will continue to rely on UNESCO’s support for preserving and developing it and also for conducting archaeological excavations in our country. There are many things to be yet discovered, however funds are needed to this end. This is what President Rumen Radev told journalists after the meeting with UNESCO Director General Audrey Azul, which was held in the organization’s headquarters in Paris.

At a meeting with leading companies in the sphere of aviation industry, agriculture, food production and defense, President Rumen Radev invited the French business to encourage the industrial cooperation and the technological transfer with our country. “This is a real opportunity to create mutually beneficial partnerships that all Bulgarian institutions support,” Rumen Radev was adamant.

Bulgaria and France are strategic partners and the Bulgarian community in France has a great contribution to building up the trust in the bilateral relations, President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with hundreds of our compatriots in Paris. The Head of State emphasized that it is trust that is a condition for attracting more investments in Bulgaria and for integrating our country in Europe.

Bulgaria has the ambition to reaffirm its positions in sectors with a high added value such as IT, electronics and the development of medicine and the partnership with the European Space Agency is a step to this end. This is what President Rumen Radev said, who visited the European Space Agency (ESA) in Paris today and held talks with the Director General Johann Woerner. The meeting was also attended by professor Petar Getsov, Director of the Bulgarian Space Research and Technology Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
