Bulgaria and Israel have an excellent political dialogue, which is a factor for more pragmatism in the bilateral partnership in key spheres such as IT, investments and security. The community of Bulgarian Jews in Israel is a bridge for the development of bilateral trade in education and culture, President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with representatives of organizations of the Bulgarian Jews in the State of Israel in Jerusalem. President Radev reiterated that for Bulgaria Israel is a friend and strategic partner and relies on the support of the Bulgarian Jews and their descendants for subsequently strengthening the bilateral relations.

The rescue of the Bulgarian Jews 75 years ago was an unprecedented act. In the darkest years for Europe and Nazism, Bulgaria made an act of historic importance. This is what President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with representatives of Jewish organizations from Bulgaria and the State of Israel.
