The invitation to have an audience with Queen Elizabeth II is a sign of friendly relations between Bulgaria and Great Britain both countries work toward developing. This was reaffirmed at this audience, President Rumen Radev said, after a meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The audience continued about 40 minutes and the second half was also attended by the Head of State’s wife Desislava Radeva.

Our compatriots living in Great Britain, thanks to their entire activity, raise Bulgaria’s prestige as a country with hard-working, respectable, talented and reliable people. This is what President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with representatives of the Bulgarian community in the UK. It was held within the first day of the Head of State’s visit to Great Britain and gathered more than 200 people in the Bulgarian Embassy in London.

NATO’s Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) highly appreciates Bulgaria’s active participation in the annual Sea Guardian operation in the Mediterranean Sea and also our country’s contribution to the Alliance’s Standing Maritime Groups. Today’s meeting within the Three Seas Initiative is the first step towards assuming specific commitments on the implementation of joint projects. I expect that the agreement signed in Bucharest on cooperation and the establishment of a chambers of commerce and industry network of the member states of the initiative will contribute to regional connectivity.
