But in the long run, it will require enormous resources, combined with the inability to guarantee adequate security. The invitation to have an audience with Queen Elizabeth II is a sign of friendly relations between Bulgaria and Great Britain both countries work toward developing. This was reaffirmed at this audience, President Rumen Radev said, after a meeting with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The audience continued about 40 minutes and the second half was also attended by the Head of State’s wife Desislava Radeva.

NATO’s Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) highly appreciates Bulgaria’s active participation in the annual Sea Guardian operation in the Mediterranean Sea and also our country’s contribution to the Alliance’s Standing Maritime Groups.
