Bulgaria highly appreciates its relations with Japan and its friends who work to develop and strengthen them. This is what President Rumen Radev said at the ceremony held in the Bulgarian Embassy in Tokyo, at which Japanese statesmen were awarded high Bulgarian state honors for their contribution to strengthening the bilateral relations and partnership between Bulgaria and Japan.

The Head of State and his wife Desislava Radeva took part in the enthronement ceremony and in the reception given by the new Japanese Emperor Naruhito. More than 2,000 guests from 200 countries attended the ceremony at the imperial palace. Bulgaria was represented by the President.

Increasing the economic, trade and investment exchange between Bulgaria and Vietnam is a common priority and the institutions in the two countries are ready to support the business initiatives.
