Official Visit of President Rumen Radev to Croatia

On the first day of the visit, the Head of State was welcomed in Zagreb with an official ceremony by President Zoran Milanovic. The two Heads of State held a one-on-one meeting, chaired plenary talks between the two delegations and addressed the media.

During his visit, Rumen Radev met with the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic and Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.

The Head of State paid tribute at the Croatian Homeland Monument. Together with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Croatia, President Radev honoured the work of the most famous Bulgarian author Ivan Vazov in front of the bust-monument of the patriarch of Bulgarian literature on the Alley of Poets in Bundek City Park.

On the second day of the visit, the Head of State visited the Bulgarian Military Cemetery in Vukovar, where he paid tribute to the memory of Bulgarian officers and soldiers who died in the final phase of World War II. The President also visited the Memorial Cemetery of the Fallen in the Croatian Patriotic War.
