Rumen Radev and Iliana Iotova take office for a second term

Rumen Radev and Iliana Iotova took office for a second term as President and Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
 
In St Alexander Nevsky square, the Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Rumen Radev, reviewed the representative units of the Bulgarian Armed Forces.
 
Twenty-one gun salutes marked the beginning of the second term. The Head of State laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier and paid tribute to those who had died for the freedom of Bulgaria.
 
In front of the main entrance of the Presidential Administration a guard of honour welcomed Head of State Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Iotova. The two were greeted by citizens, representatives of the steering committee that had nominated them for a second term, and of parties that had declared their support. The President and the Vice President were accompanied by their spouses, Desislava Radeva and Andrei Iotov.
