The president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko paid an official visit to Bulgaria. President Rosen Plevneliev welcomed the head of state of Ukraine with an official ceremony at "St. Alexander Nevsky" square in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

 

During the one day visit of Petro Poroshenko the two leaders discussed the bilateral trade and investment opportunities for Bulgaria and Ukraine, the regional and international security sutuation and the current agenda and the priorities ahead of the European Union.
