Official visit of President Rumen Radev to Kazakhstan

President Rumen Radev is on an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The head of state was welcomed on June 9 with a solemn ceremony at the Akorda Palace by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Following a narrow-format meeting between the two presidents, plenary talks took place between the official delegations of the two countries.

The two presidents made a joint statement to the media, and in their presence a memorandum of understanding for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, a memorandum of cooperation between the Diplomatic Institutes of the two countries, as well as between the cities of Sofia and Astana and between Plovdiv and Shymkent were signed.
