Radev Visits VinFast Electric Car Plant at Haiphong

President Rumen Radev today visited the VinFast electric car factory near Haiphong as part of his official visit to Vietnam. He held a meeting with the company's management and inspected the production process. The plant has over 1,200 robots and 90 per cent automation of production.

The Head of State congratulated VinFast's management for the impressive results achieved and for their ambitions to expand the export of electric cars around the world. At the meeting, Radev also highlighted the achievements of the automotive sector in Bulgaria over the past 10 years, as well as the 35 research and development centres opened in the country by international companies in the automotive industry. VinFast can import its cars to Bulgaria, but it can also use our experience in the production of components, systems and software and even assemble its cars in Bulgaria, Rumen Radev further emphasised.
