President Discusses Fostering Economy and Energy Cooperation with Emir of Qatar

President Rumen Radev and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, discussed in a telephone conversation the possibilities for further development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the State of Qatar.
The focus of the topics discussed were the prospects for deepening the partnership in the trade and economic sphere, in energy and security. President Rumen Radev congratulated Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the successful hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
