Radev, Timmermans discuss just transition to green economy

In a telephone conversation with European Commission Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans today, the head of State discussed the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan for Bulgaria in the context of the energy crisis, as well as the just transition to a green economy in Bulgaria. The two concurred that the transition to a climate-neutral economy must preserve and promote employment and increase the well-being of citizens.
 
This country's prospects to make the most efficient use of natural, technological and human resources in the quest for sustainable solutions in the energy sector and the implementation of new technological solutions were also touched on.
