President Rumen Radev has received congratulatory addresses from a number of heads of state from around the world on the occasion of the celebration of 144 years since the Liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.

In his congratulatory address, US President Joseph Biden stresses that the United States will continue to be a steadfast partner in upholding the rule of law, strengthening democratic institutions, fighting corruption and ensuring the prosperity of Bulgarian citizens.
In his letter, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, congratulates the Bulgarian Head of State on the Day of the Liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule and pays tribute to the sacrifice of the Bulgarian volunteers and Russian soldiers who fought side by side for the freedom of Bulgaria.
The Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, sends his cordial greetings to the Bulgarian citizens and expresses his hope that in a time fraught with challenges, the cooperation between the two countries will continue. Together, as Europeans and friends, we will successfully tackle the challenges, the German Head of State said.
