The Head of State held a bilateral meeting with his Polish Counterpart, Mr. Andrzej Duda

The participating countries must work for common quality, reliability, safety and sustainability standards in implementing joint infrastructure projects in the Three Seas Initiative. That would significantly elucidate the value of projects establishing connectivity in our region, stated President Rumen Radev at a meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda. The discussion was held as part of the Sixth Three Seas Initiative Summit, hosted this year by Bulgaria.

Both Heads of State underlined the importance of the Three Seas Initiative Presidential platform and its connectivity priorities as a real working tool for promoting the growth and modernisation of all participating countries.

From a bilateral standpoint, the good economic partnership, as well as the potential for its further development in different fields – agriculture and food production, industrial cooperation and defence industries was underlined. The opportunity to deepen cooperation in using and upgrading rail passenger and freight transport, as well as in the field of road infrastructure was also discussed.
