Mr. Rumen Radev met with the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier

Bulgaria has accumulated enough experience and is ready to attract investments not only in extracting raw materials, but in fields of high added value as well. We expect a strategic investor from Germany to raise relations between businesses and institutions to an entirely new level of quality, stated President Rumen Radev at a meeting with the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The Heads of State held a discussion as part of this year’s Three Seas Initiative Summit in Sofia, hosted by President Rumen Radev. Mr. Atanas Pekanov, Deputy Prime Minister for Managing EU Funds, and Mr. Svetlan Stoev, Minister of Foreign Affairs, also took part in the meeting.

Presidents Radev and Steinmeier outlined the excellent political dialogue and cooperation in the field of economy, which maintains its positive dynamics, despite the consequences of the pandemic. Both shared the opinion that vocational education, which has been developing in our country with Germany’s support, is an investment in the future broadening of bilateral economic and investment exchange.
