2021-05-17 17:28:00

President Rumen Radev held a phone call today with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain Pedro Sánchez. The two discussed topics on the agenda of the European Union, bilateral partnership, as well as the development of the epidemiological situation in the two countries.

The Head of State thanked the Spanish Prime Minister for the support our compatriots living in Spain receive in the conditions of a crisis. The two shared the position that the policy of expanding the EU is an investment in the stability of the Western Balkans and the countries in the region should be encouraged to build good-neighbourly relations and to meet the criteria for accession to the EU.
