President Rumen Radev held a phone call with Croatian counterpart Mr. Zoran Milanovic. The Bulgarian Head of State expressed the sympathy of our nation for the people and institutions of Croatia in the wake of the earthquake that caused devastating human and material losses.

Bulgaria is ready to send search and rescue teams as well as to provide equipment for overcoming the consequences of the earthquake, if need be, Rumen Radev emphasized. The Head of State also pointed out the potential of our country to offer support, if necessary, providing engineering teams for damage assessments, such as those Bulgaria sent to Albania following the earthquake there last year.

Rumen Radev invited his counterpart Zoran Milanovic to visit our country at a mutually convenient time.
