President Rumen Radev discussed in a telephone conversation today with his Estonian counterpart Kersti Kaljulaid the prospects for Bulgaria to host the Three Seas initiative in 2021. The format for top level political dialogue aims to promote the transport, energy, digital and research connectivity in Eastern Europe. Estonia hosts the initiative in 2020.

Opinions were exchanged on the forthcoming presidential forum in the autumn of 2020. Bulgaria is ready to fully participate in the Investment fund of the Three Seas initiative, which will provide funds for common projects, President Radev emphasized.
