Presidents Rumen Radev and Kasim-Jomart Tokayev Discussed Deepening the Bilateral Relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan

The Presidents of the two countries Rumen Radev and Kasim-Jomart Tokayev discussed deepening the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan and improving the connectivity between the Black Sea and Caspian region. The two met in New York within the 74th regular session of the UN General Assembly.
The common stance shared by Rumen Radev and Kasim-Jomart Tokayev was that the friendly relations between the two countries and their strategic geographic location are an excellent basis for deepening the economic and trade contacts. A sign of Kazakhstan’s interest in a new dynamics in the trade relations and strengthening the dialogue with Bulgaria is also raising the rank of Kazakhstan’s diplomatic mission in Bulgaria and the decision to accredit an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary.
The opportunities for strengthening the educational and scientific exchange were also discussed at the meeting.
