Head of State Rosen Plevneliev was presented with Moldova’s highest state award “the Order of the Republic” for his contribution to the development and strengthening of the bilateral relations and for his consistent support for the European integration of the country.

The Bulgaria Head of State received the order also for his personal contribution to encouraging the democratic values and the pro-European development of the Republic of Moldova, which marked the 25^th anniversary of its independence in 2016.
