President Vujanovic proposed to his Bulgarian counterpart that inter-state commission between Bulgaria and Montenegro make the focus of its next meeting, the development of bilateral economic ties. Both President Plevneliev and President Vujanovic believe that economic co-operation is lagging behind the development of active political dialogue. It was agreed that the representatives of business circles of both countries should be supported to build closer ties. According to President Vujanovic, tourism, energy and shipbuilding are particularly promising for both sides.

President Vujanovic invited the Bulgarian Head of State to visit Montenegro at the end of 2012 or in spring 2013.
