"A lot succumbed to Euroscepticism because they lost their jobs. A lot of young people who have graduated university experience difficulties in finding a job. However, alienation, pessimism and apathy will not solve these problems. We should pool efforts and have a will for change."

“I readily accept the proposal made by You whereby the Declaration of the Prime Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia of 1999 should be transformed into an Agreement on good-neighborly relations and cooperation. I am convinced that by strictly observing the clauses of this agreement, our two countries will show political will to together be part of the big European family, sharing the democratic values.” This is what President Rosen Plevneliev said in a letter to his counterpart, the President of Macedonia George Ivanov.

The referenda held in the Donetsk and Lugan regions are a breach of the international law and of Ukraine’s Constitution and are yet another attempt to revise the rule of law established in Europe. They were organized by illegitimate separatist groups, which renders them unlawful and their outcome cannot possibly be recognized.
