ULYANA PRAMOVA

Ulyana Pramova was born in Sofia. She graduated from the 9th French Language Lycee "Alphonse de Lamartine" in Sofia and Italian Philology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She has a second major - French Philology and a third - Greek.
 
She started working at the Bulgarian National Television in 1978 as an editor and presenter. She was a freelance correspondent for BNT in Geneva and for the Bulgarian National Radio in Vienna.
 
From 1992 to 1996, she worked as the head of the Internal Information Department at Continent newspaper. In 1996, she returned to BNT as the head of news at Channel 1, later head of the news team. From 2000 to 2004, she created and managed the news at Den TV.
 
Since 2004, she has been the operational director of BBT for a short time, after which she returned to BNT as director of the "News and Current Affairs" department.
 
From September 2004 to 2010, she served two consecutive terms as Director General of BNT.
 
From 2011 to 2014, she was successively the producer of the shows "24/7" and "Face to Face" on BTV.
 
Since 2014, she has created and headed the video department of BTA. From 2018 to 2019, she was the director of the "News and Current Affairs" department of BNT.
 
She was appointed as an advisor to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria by Decree No. 117 of March 19, 2026.
 
She speaks French, Italian, Greek and Russian. She also uses English and German.
 
Married, with two daughters.
