BOYAN HADZHIEV

Boyan Borisov Hadzhiev was born on February 25, 1971.

He graduated from the French Lycee "Alphonse de Lamartine ", Sofia. He obtained a master's degree in "International Relations" at the University of National and World Economy and "Contemporary European Studies" at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom.

A career diplomat with many years of experience in the field of European integration and bilateral diplomacy. He holds a number of expert and management positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU. In the period 2020 - 2025, he was the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Kazakhstan.

By Decree No. 200 of June 11, he was appointed Secretary for Foreign Policy of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.

He speaks English and French, and uses Russian.
