The meeting was also attended by Prof Hermenegildo Fernandes, Dean of the Faculty of Philology.
The largest university in Portugal has 52 thousand students, 20 thousand of whom are foreign. Prof Ferreira expressed gratitude for the good cooperation with Bulgaria. The University of Lisbon has a lectureship in Bulgarian language and culture, and the director of the Centre for Slavic Languages and Cultures at the Faculty of Philology is Bulgarian - prof.
