The two were unanimous that restoring peace in Europe through diplomacy is a priority for the EU and the only way to ensure the long-term security and stability of the Old Continent.

President Rumen Radev discussed ensuring Bulgaria's macroeconomic and financial stability in the context of the crisis in a telephone conversation today with the President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde.
The head of State highlighted the actions of the caretaker cabinet to prevent the risk of excessive indebtedness of the country, as well as the efforts to curb inflation, which yielded results in October. Rumen Radev stressed that the main factor for containing prices was the energy diversification that this country had achieved. The conditions created and the sound fiscal policy are a good basis that the caretaker cabinet will leave for the next regular one, the President concluded.
