President Rumen Radev took part in a conference call with US President Joe Biden and European heads of state and government of the Bucharest Nine.

Several approaches to resolving the crisis in Ukraine through the de-escalation of tensions and the strict implementation of the Minsk accords, as well as strengthening the NATO member states' defence capabilities, were among the highlights of the talks. The participants reaffirmed the preparedness of the Alliance to continue the dialogue with Russia for finding a peaceful and sustainable solution to the crisis in Ukraine, and to ensure the security of individual member states in the event of an escalation of tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
