President Rosen Plevneliev Held a Telephone Talk with His Iranian Counterpart Hassan Rouhani

In a telephone talk, President Rosen Plevneliev congratulated Dr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan on Iran’s nuclear program, announced on 16 January 2016.

Lifting the international and unilateral sanctions against Iran related to Iran’s nuclear program opens up opportunities for the development of cooperation between the international community and Iran.  The prospects for the development of the relations between Bulgaria and Iran, particularly in the sphere of trade, were also discussed during the talk.
