In a telephone conversation with European Commission Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans today, the head of State discussed the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan for Bulgaria in the context of the energy crisis, as well as the just transition to a green economy in Bulgaria.

Head of State Rumen Radev today sent letters to the leaders of the EU member states, in which he continued his statements on the accession of Bulgaria and Romania to Schengen, made at the European Council meetings in Prague and Brussels earlier this year, reiterating Bulgaria's contribution to the protection of the external European borders, as well as the significant financial, technical and human resources invested in this.
