President and Saudi Ambassador Discuss Opportunities for Deepening Bilateral Relations and Intensifying the Highest Level Political Dialogue

President Rumen Radev received today the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Khalid bin Kamal Faqih. During the meeting, which was initiated by the Saudi side, Ambassador Faqih handed the head of state a letter from Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, accepting the invitation extended by the Bulgarian President to visit this country in the near future.

Radev and Ambassador Faqih discussed the positive development of bilateral relations and the deepening cooperation in a wide range of areas such as economy and investments, high technologies, energy, defence, science and education, tourism, etc. The sides agreed that the upcoming visit of the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have a tangible added value for the further sustainable development of bilateral ties and for the full disclosure of the significant potential of the mutually beneficial Bulgarian-Saudi cooperation. Confidence was expressed in the successful preparation of the visit in the coming period with the active involvement of both countries' relevant institutions.
