President Rumen Radev on a Visit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

President Rumen Radev visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by his wife Desislava Radeva. At the invitation of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the country, Mohammed bin Salman, the Bulgarian head of state participated in the Ninth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative Forum in Riyadh.
The Head of State held a meeting in Riyadh with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. During the meeting, Rumen Radev renewed his invitation to the Crown Prince to pay his postponed visit to Bulgaria, together with representatives of the business community, with a view to further deepening bilateral dialogue and stimulating economic ties. Later, the Bulgarian president met with representatives of the Bulgarian community in the Saudi Arabian capital, who asked him a number of questions.
As part of the Future Investment Initiative, which brings together state and government leaders, leading investors, and influential business representatives from around the world, Rumen Radev held a series of bilateral meetings with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, Crown Prince of Jordan His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, Rwandan President Paul Kagame, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Trade Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Richard Attias, CEO of the FII Institute, and others. The Head of State participated in a high-level discussion on maintaining economic security in the context of disrupted supply chains, fragmentation of the global market, and rising tariffs.
President Rumen Radev held meetings in Riyadh with the Governor of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, who manages assets worth USD 1 trillion, and with the Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia, Faisal Alibrahim.
