The President also said that during the visit to Singapore the issue of opening a direct airline between the two countries was discussed, which would give a strong impetus to the development of bilateral relations.

The Head of State hailed the efforts of the Bulgarians to preserve their culture, identity and spirituality thousands of kilometres away from Bulgaria. He expressed support for the opening of a Sunday school in Singapore, which is the wish of our compatriots there. Minister of Education and Science Galin Tsokov explained to our community the procedure for launching organised education for Bulgarian children abroad.
