2023-12-10 17:37:00Presidents Rumen Radev and Ilham Aliyev discussed the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan at a meeting in Nis, Serbia.
The Bulgarian Head of State highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, including in the supply of natural gas to Bulgaria, our region and Europe. There was a common assessment that the commissioning of the interconnector between Bulgaria and Serbia provides new opportunities for deepening the partnership in this field.
The two heads of state also discussed opportunities for further development of bilateral investment cooperation in the tourism sector in Bulgaria.
