Head of State Rumen Radev discussed the challenges to guaranteeing Bulgaria's air sovereignty at a working meeting with Defence Minister Dragomir Zakov, Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov and Air Force Commander Major General Dimitar Petrov
The President raised the issue of taking urgent measures to ensure the protection of Bulgaria's airspace by Bulgarian aircraft with Bulgarian crews. The options proposed by the Ministry of Defence require a thorough analysis as well as timely and adequate solutions in the context of a complicated geopolitical situation, it was stressed at the meeting.
