State Leaders from Across the Globe Congratulated Bulgarians on the 3rd of March National Holiday

President Rumen Radev received congratulatory addresses from Heads of State from across the globe on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Republic of Bulgaria – 3rd of March.

The Bulgarian Head of State received congratulatory addresses from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, His Majesty the Emperor of Japan Naruhito, His Majesty the King of Spain Felipe VI, His Majesty the King of the Belgians Philippe, the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom Elizabeth II, the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis, the President of Hungary János Áder, the President of the Republic of Ireland Michael Higgins, the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman, the President of Croatia Zoran Milanovi?, the President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin, the President of the Republic of Latvia Egils Levits, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi alongside many other Heads of State and representatives of international organisations.

In his letter, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin paid homage to the self-sacrifice of the Bulgarian volunteers and the Russian soldiers who fought side by side for Bulgaria’s freedom. “I hope that the long-standing traditions of brotherly friendship will continue to contribute to the development of the mutually beneficial cooperation between our two countries. I wish you good health and luck from the bottom of my heart and to the people of Bulgaria – welfare and prosperity,” wrote the President of Russia to Rumen Radev.

In his congratulatory address, the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier sent his heartfelt congratulations to Bulgarian citizens on behalf of the German nation and expressed his certainty that, with join efforts, the two countries will overcome the common challenges. “I am grateful for the long-lasting trustful cooperation between our two countries,” stated the letter of the German Head of State.

His Majesty the King of Spain Felipe VI sent his cordial salutations on the occasion of 143 years since the Liberation of Bulgaria: “From the bottom of my heart I wish personal success, peace and prosperity to the beloved Bulgarian people,” read the address of His Majesty King Felipe VI.

“I have the pleasure of sending you my cordial congratulations and sincere well wishes for happiness and prosperity to the people of your country on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Republic of Bulgaria,” emphasized His Majesty the Emperor of Japan Naruhito.

On the occasion of the Bulgarian National Holiday, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II expressed her best wishes to the Bulgarian nation. “I hope that after the difficult year we can expect to overcome the global health challenges and to have better times in the future,” read the address of Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom.

The President of Hungary János Áder expressed his certainty that through continuing the joint efforts of Bulgaria and Hungary they will boost the relations, contributing to the strengthening of the European Union. “We may gladly affirm that the economic and political cooperation between our two countries has developed dynamically over the past years as well,” wrote János Áder.

“I am taking this opportunity to confirm that I deeply value the cordial bilateral relations linking our two friendly countries and to express my interest in strengthening and deepening these relations in all fields in the name of the prosperity of our two friendly nations,” wrote the President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to the Bulgarian Head of State.
