2019-06-14 16:57:00

The Head of State highly appreciated the Hungarian government’s policy for social and tax reliefs for the young families

The partnership between Bulgaria and Hungary is built on deep historical, cultural and spiritual ties and is independent of political changes in either of the two countries, was the common position shared by Head of State Rumen Radev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who held a meeting in Budapest within the Bulgarian President’s official visit in Hungary.

The two were adamant that the EU still does not have a crisis plan in the case of a sudden migratory pressure at the external European borders and this should be changed.

The bilateral cooperation in the energy sphere, the two countries’ approach to energy diversification and the greater security of the energy supplies were also discussed.

The Bulgarian Head of State highly appreciated the Hungarian government’s active policy directed at creating prospects for the career development of the young people in Hungary and for providing social and tax reliefs for families.

During the second day of his official visit to Hungary, President Rumen Radev also held a meeting with Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover. The good inter-parliamentary cooperation that opens favorable prospects for a follow-up deepening of the friendly ties between Bulgaria and Hungary was highlighted at the meeting.
