President Rumen Radev Attended the Ceremony Marking 100 Years since the End of WWI in Paris

At the invitation of President of France Emmanuel Macron, Head of State Rumen Radev attended the ceremony marking 100 years since the truce was signed, whereby the military actions in WWI were brought to an end.

The event in Paris is attended by leaders of international organizations and state and government leaders from tens of states from all over the world, among which UN Secretary General Antonio Gutteres, UNESCO Director General Audrey Azule, European Parliament President Antonio Tajani, US President Donald Trump, The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel and many more.

President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva were welcomed by President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron at the Elysee Palace.

Later the Bulgarian Head of State will take part in the Paris Peace Forum – an initiative the aim of which is to promote international cooperation and improve governance.
