The Republic of Bulgaria Strongly Condemns the Terror Acts in Brussels

2016-03-22 10:50:00

“The news about the terror acts at the Zaventem airport and the metro in Brussels, which claimed the lives of innocent people and injured many, deeply shocked me and distressed me. The Republic of Bulgaria strongly condemns these acts of violence. Such acts, directed against peaceful citizens, can no way be justified.”  This is what Head of State Rosen Plevneliev says in a letter of condolences to His Majesty Philippe, the King of the Belgians.

“On behalf of the Bulgarian people and on my behalf, please accept our heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of the victims. At this difficult moment, I would like to express our compassion and sympathy and wish a quick recovery to the injured,” the President wrote in his letter of condolences to the King of Belgium.
