President Plevneliev's two-day visit to Austria

On March 17 and 18 Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev is on a working visit to the Republic of Austria.
On March 17 President Rosen Plevneliev held meeting with Austria’s Federal President Heinz Fischer in the Hofburg palace in Vienna. On the same day President Plevneliev took part in a forum organized by the Austrian Industrial Chamber, which was attended by representatives of more than 250 companies. During the forum President Plevneliev presented Bulgaria’s advantages as trade and economic partner.
On March 18 President Rosen Plevneliev was conferred the ERI Prix award for his contribution to the preservation of the diversity and equality of the regions on their way to united Europe. The official ceremony took place in the city of St. Polten – the administrative capital of the Federal Province of Lower Austria. Earlier that day, the Bulgarian Head of State held meeting with Dr. Erwin Proll, prime minister of the Federal province Lower Austria.
