Moroccan Citizens Show an Interest in the Opportunities for Education in Bulgaria

2014-12-19 14:45:00

Representatives of the Bulgarian community in Morocco and Moroccan citizens who took their university degree in Bulgaria raised issues related to the opportunities for the development of the cultural exchange between the two countries, the legal requirements for acquiring a Bulgarian citizenship, as well as the means to receive education in Bulgaria at a meeting held with Vice-president Margarita Popova.

“The business ties between Bulgaria and Morocco and the wonderful diplomatic and political relations between the two countries should be strengthened and be filled with political content,” Margarita Popova said at the meeting in Casablanca, the Kingdom of Morocco. The Vice-president pointed out that the common topics between Bulgaria and the Kingdom, as well as the excellent intellectual and professional potential of the Bulgarian community in Morocco, are also favorable conditions for strengthening the bilateral relations. In Popova’s view, the talks held during her visit with the prime minister of Morocco and ministers give reasons to think that the prospects for expanding the cooperation between the two countries are very good.

Margarita Popova presented a plaquette to the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Casablanca for his contribution to the development of the relations between Bulgaria and Morocco. Ali Shraibi voiced his hope that the cooperation between the two countries will be further promoted in the future.
