The energy connectivity among the countries from the region is a factor for establishing a common energy market and regional energy bourse. Together with the improvement of the transport links and cooperation among the countries from the region in key sectors, it will give an impetus to the industrial development in the Balkans and will reduce the dependence on one supplier of resources. This is what Head of State Rosen Plevneliev said, who together with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic opened a joint Bulgarian-Croatian business forum in Sofia.

Bulgaria firmly supports the right of the Ukrainian people to alone choose its road of development, its will and desire to be part of the European family. Ukraine has always been and will be an integral part of Europe – a bridge between cultures and peoples, opening up new common horizons.
