More investments and joint projects in the sphere of infrastructure, energy and digitalization in the region of the three seas – the Black, Adriatic and Baltic Seas will bring added value to the citizens of Central and Eastern Europe and will make the whole European Union more competitive and purpose-oriented. The sustainable development of our dynamic region depends on our skill to coordinate our policies, to clearly define and defend our common goals. This is what Head of State Rumen Radev said, who took part in the Three Seas Initiative in Warsaw.

Today President Rumen Radev presented Bulgaria’s investment advantages at a Romanian – Bulgarian business forum attended by more than 100 companies from the two countries. Together with his Romanian counterpart President Klaus Johannis, the Bulgarian Head of State confirmed the readiness of the institutions in the two countries to work so as to ensure a better connectivity between Bulgaria and Romania which serves the people’s and the businesses’ interests. Skilled labor, favorable taxation, the boom in the IT sector were highlighted as Bulgaria’s competitive advantages in Southeastern Europe.

Strengthening the ties between our compatriots abroad and Bulgaria is a priority for the Presidential Institution, the Head of State said at a meeting held with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Romania today. In the Bulgarian Embassy in Bucharest President Rumen Radev held talks with the leaderships of the Bulgarian Union in Banat, the Federation of the Bulgarian Community in Romania and our compatriots that live in our northern neighbor.

Bulgaria and Romania share a common goal to improve and expand the energy and transport infrastructure which connects the two countries and will work so as to build new bridges and ferryboat lines across the Danube, which will encourage the contacts between the people and the businesses. This was the common stance adopted by Presidents Rumen Radev and Klaus Iohannis, who held talks in Bucharest today. The Bulgarian Head of State is on an official visit to Romania.
