Montenegro proves to be a country that actively works towards its European integration. It has set an example to the other countries in the Western Balkans and proves that opportunities are open when we unite around the European values and we follow them in our actions. This is what Head of State Rumen Radev said, who held a meeting with Ivan Brajovic, Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro at 2 Dondukov street today.

We can no longer continue to pretend that climate changes are no problem and this problem cannot be solved only by restricting and banning traditional energy production, nor by limiting the greenhouse gas emissions. This is what President Rumen Radev told journalists in Paris. The Bulgarian Head of State is representing our country at the world summit in Paris “One planet,” dedicated to climate changes, at the invitation of the President of France Emmanuel Macron, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim.

Bulgaria has a huge historical and cultural heritage and will continue to rely on UNESCO’s support for preserving and developing it and also for conducting archaeological excavations in our country. There are many things to be yet discovered, however funds are needed to this end. Bulgaria and France are strategic partners and the Bulgarian community in France has a great contribution to building up the trust in the bilateral relations, President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with hundreds of our compatriots in Paris. The Head of State emphasized that it is trust that is a condition for attracting more investments in Bulgaria and for integrating our country in Europe.
