Head of State Rumen Radev took part as a keynote speaker in the final plenary session of the sixth Global Forum for combating anti-Semitism, which took place in Jerusalem. Before an audience of over 600 people representing governments and NGOs from the whole world, President Rumen Radev was presented as the Head of State of a people which rescued its whole Jewish community during World War II.

Bulgaria and Israel have an excellent political dialogue, which is a factor for more pragmatism in the bilateral partnership in key spheres such as IT, investments and security. This was the common position shared by President Rumen Radev and Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, Speaker of the Knesset, which held a meeting in Jerusalem.

The community of Bulgarian Jews in Israel is a bridge for the development of bilateral trade in education and culture, President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with representatives of organizations of the Bulgarian Jews in the State of Israel in Jerusalem. President Radev reiterated that for Bulgaria Israel is a friend and strategic partner and relies on the support of the Bulgarian Jews and their descendants for subsequently strengthening the bilateral relations.
