President Rumen Radev awarded Sotiroula Charalambous, Deputy General Secretary of the Pancyprian Federation of Labor (PEO) and Labor and Social Insurance Minister (2008-2013), the Order of the Madara Horseman first class. The order is awarded in recognition of her contribution to the development of the relations between Bulgaria and Cyprus in the social sphere and the protection of the labor and social rights of the Bulgarians working in Cyprus.

This is what head of state Rumen Radev said at his meeting with the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani and leaders and representatives of the political groups in the European Parliament. The head of state went on to say that the Bulgarian citizens are among the strongest adherents and proponents of the unity of the European Union.
